Talented youngsters wanted for cult sci-fi rock musical.

ALL aboard! Get ready to Return To The Forbidden Planet. The Court Theatre, Tring, is holding auditions this week for the cult rock musical that's a real blast.

Return To The Forbidden Planet is based on the 1956 B movie Forbidden Planet. Add some songs and a very loose interpretation of Shakespeare's The Tempest and you have a show with everything – high drama, comedy, deep space and great soundtrack.

The theatre's youth group is looking for singers, actors and dancers to join the crew of the Survey Ship Albatross as it blasts across space to the sounds of rock and roll.

So if you are aged 15 or over you need to attend a preview night on Wednesday (May 27) and auditions on Sunday (May 31)being held at Red Cross Hall, Tring.

The crew will be broken down into singers, dancers and principals and only principals will need to sing and dance at the same time.

For more information, contact Kevyn Connett on 07875 447 881 or email rttfp@btinternet.com.

If you want to audition for a principal role you need to come with a prepared speech (anything) of about 1-2 minutes in length.

Return To The Forbidden Planet runs at The Court Theatre this September.
