Bring a gift for Leighton's needy.
The Grove Lock pub will have an official Christmas tree lights switching-on ceremony this Friday (Dec 4) combined with a collection for charity around the 'giving tree'.

Join staff for mulled wine and mince pies and carols played by The Salvation Army band.

People can take along gifts, from non-perishable foods to smellies and toys, collect a label from bar staff and place it under the 'giving tree' ready for the Salvation Army to take it away and distribute it to to those in need at Christmas time.

The light switch on starts at 7pm at the Grove Lock, just off the Leighton Buzzard bypass (Cheddington, Mentmore roundabout).
