P-A-U-L and The Harper Woods Heroes (www.p-a-u-lmusic.com) have crossed the pond from Detroit for a UK tour – which sees them playing at one of Leighton's favourite live music haunts, The Wheatsheaf, this Friday, April 11.
P-A-U-L delivers Blues Rock that's a crossbreed of deep seeded grooves, lightning riffs, and soulful melodies. A sound that creates a perfect backdrop for his heartfelt lyrical memoirs of life on the road.
On Saturday night live rock fans at the North Street pub can join in the celebrations with covers band Burn (www.burn-rock.co.uk) as they continue their tour to mark their 15th anniversary. This talented band plays classic songs originally performed by bands such as Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Bad Company, ZZ Top, Rainbow, Jimi Hendrix, The Who, Bon Jovi, Joe Cocker and Free, amongst many others.
Visit The Wheatsheaf's website www.thewheatie.co.uk for more information about coming gigs.
