Real ales galore at two-day event.
FANS of real ale are in for a treat next weekend (June 5/6) when Eaton Bray throws open its doors to its annual beer festival.
This year there will be between 15 and 20 barrels of real ale, perry and cider, hand-picked by the experts from CAMRA to sample over Friday and Saturday at the village hall in Church Lane.
The event has been organised by the village hall committee to help finance Stage Three of the building's re-development.
It's the sixth year that the festival has been held and it continues to go from strength to strength.
As well as the consumption of the odd tipple there's is also live entertainment on Friday night from 6pm until 11pm and, on Saturday, during the afternoon, there is a family magic show followed by more music in the evening.
A barbecue will be operating over the two days providing food for lunchtimes and evenings – and there's also wine and non-alcoholic beverages for those not imbibing the amber nectar.
