One day contemporary workshop planned at venue.
THE Grove is running a contemporary dance workshop next Saturday (March 20) in which budding dancers can improve their dance skills.

It's for anyone aged over 14 and runs from 10am – 3pm.

The workshop boasts two inspirational dancers, Helen Parlor and Chris Bradley, who will perform their devised work, Full Circle, which will be used as a stimulus to create your own dance choreography.

Over the course of the day, participants will have the opportunity to:

  • Learn how to lift your partner and catch your own weight in and out of the floor in combination with theatrical movement and some use of text.

  • Get a free trailer of the dancers' professional work, performed specifically for the group.

  • Get a chance to ask any questions and have the opportunity to physically explore personal interests in contemporary dance.

  • Get the opportunity to make some work in a professional theatre alongside professionals.

Participants will need to have some contemporary dance experience.

There are only a very limited of places left. Call the box office on 01582 602080 to book your place.
