NICHOLAS Le Prevost is out of Uncle Vanya at Milton Keynes Theatre next week after he fell and broke his leg during a matinee on Saturday.
After a short interval the performance continued with Mark Extance in the role of Vanya. Mark has been playing Yefim and has been part of the company since the beginning of the production..

Rachel Tackley, previous Chief Executive of Milton Keynes Theatre and now director of English Touring Theatre (ETT) said: 'Clearly our thoughts are with Nick who will be sorely missed for the final three weeks of the tour. He is in remarkably good spirits despite everything, but clearly unable to perform. However, we are fortunate to have Mark Extance as an excellent understudy.'

The play opens at Milton Keynes Theatre on Wednesday, March 26, with Mark Extance in the role of Vanya starring alongside Neil Pearson as Astrov and Northampton-born actress Loo Brealey as Sonya.
