ORGANISERS of Leighton's May Day Fayre are promising there is something for everyone at this year's event.
The town's premier charity event is back again on Monday May 7 and looks set to be as popular as ever.
There will be over 40 charity stalls selling everything from plants to books, games and just general bric-a-brac.
Tom Smith's Fair Ground will be
providing the thrillseeksers with a little bit of adventure too in the form of waltzers, a helter-skelter, kiddy cars and other rides for the youngsters.
There will also be jazz and brass bands keeping the event nice and lively and even martial arts, archery and a horse shoe maker.
You can bring the pooch along for the popular Fun Dog Show that will maybe even land you a rosette.
As always the Grand Donkey Derby will be taking place, with the first race starting at 11.30am. And this year there is a special attraction, the Climbing Wall Challenge.
Dave Edwards, of the Leighton Buzzard Rotary Club which organises the event, told the Citizen: "It's a big family day out and the High Street is always packed on the May Fayre. It's the biggest charity event in Leighton and if anyone is new to the area they should really get down there, see what it's all about and meet some other people from the town."
If you do want to pop along the action starts at 10am on Monday May 7 and is spread over the High Street, Church Square and Parsons Close Recreation Ground.
