A giant of a panto from SLAP

THE St Leonard’s Amateur Players, or SLAP as they are better known, are presenting their annual pantomime at St Leonard’s Church Hall in Heath & Reach this Saturday.

This year the well-known story of Jack and the Beanstalk will be entertaining audiences, with Jack valiantly aiming to save his princess from the giant, who is aided by an evil henchman, Faceache. With plenty of songs and music to help speed the story along and with Amy Dell, winner of Leighton Buzzard’s Got Talent, as the hapless Princess Louise, there will be plenty to cheer and boo and hiss.

Evergreen James Patterson appears as Dame Trot, Jack’s accident-prone mother, in a cast which sees a number of newcomers joining the established team. Performances are on Saturday and Saturday, February 4 at 2pm and 7.30pm, although the last night is now sold out and only returns will be available. Tickets from the box office 01525 377047
