Bikers hit the road for air ambulance

BIKERS across Bedfordshire helped raise more than £1,000 for the East Anglian Air Ambulance last weekend.

The Motorcycling Matters ‘Ride Free’ day saw motorcyclists from across the county enjoying a day of activities including stunt shows and picking up safety tips including advanced riding skills.

Paul Airton, Bedfordshire fundraising manager for the air ambulance said: “We would like to thank everyone who donated so generously to the East Anglian Air Ambulance.

“The work of the air ambulance could not continue without the support of local people and organisations, and I’d like to thank everyone, including Motorcycling Matters, for their help ensuring we can continue to save lives.”
