Watch out “Annie” is coming to the Leighton Buzzard Theatre!

Annie Junior The Musical will be performed at Leighton Buzzard Theatre on Friday at 7pm and Saturday at 1pm, 4pm and 7pm in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support .

‘Maybe’ ‘It’s a Hard Knock Life’ for Annie and her friends in the orphanage where the evil Miss Hannigan sings of her hatred of ‘Little Girls’ but ‘The Sun Will Come Out tomorrow’ when Annie is taken in by the millionaire Oliver Warbucks as Annie sings ‘I Think I’m Going To Like It Here’.

Meanwhile Rooster and Lily see a way to ‘Easy Street’ in ‘NYC’ but are foiled by the FBI and Annie and Warbucks are ‘Together at Last, Together Forever’.

Fully costumed and choreographed the cast of five to 14-year-olds from Leighton Buzzard Mini Theatre and Children’s Theatre present Annie Junior – a slightly abridged version of the famous musical with all the songs, suitable for all the family.

More than 50 local children are involved in the production with eight-year-old Rebecca Knibb from Heath and Reach and nine-year-old Ella Raffe from Leighton Buzzard taking on the title role.
