Meet Fireman Sam in Leighton

Fireman Sam will be joining in the Jubilee celebrations on Monday, June 4, when he visits Leighton Buzzard Railway.

As each steam train pulls into the station, he will come into view, on board a real firefighting train built for a Royal Air Force base over 70 years ago.

During the 20-minute stopover, Fireman Sam will meet as many children as possible, before waving the train away when departure time comes. Little Chuffers steam trains will leave from Page’s Park station every 50 minutes from 10.40am to 3.40pm, with Fireman Sam waiting to greet their passengers at the other end of the line.

The whole Little Chuffers experience takes 70 minutes, and special train fares will be in operation. To make a day of it, come and join in the town’s official Jubilee celebrations in neighbouring Page’s Park!
