Writing workshop for authors wanting to be published
The Writing Workshop that began at The Barn, Heath and Reach in February continues next week.
The workshop hosted by The Writing Room Writers Group will be led by author Barbara Dean.
Barbara does not stop at the end of the evening, but continues each month for the writing and preparation of a book. If you bring along some of your work; a short story or chapter of your novel-in-progress to read out, it could be accepted as part of a longer term project.
Based on Barbara’s workshop, The Writing Room plans possible inclusion of your stories or chapters in an e-book on Amazon Kindle, or a planned paperback.
Here is a chance to see your work offered to a world-wide readership, giving a shop window for your writing skills, character and story construction. Barbara’s plan is that her workshop will continue under the auspices of The Writing Room through the stages of acceptance, editing and inclusion in a professionally produced e-book at no cost to contributors.
The Writing Room is a small friendly group of writers committed to helping each other in all aspects of writing, including presenting and publishing work.
They hope to see you at The Barn on Monday (March 11). The workshop starts at 7.30pm, arrive early.
