School give masterclass in the classics

LEIGHTON Buzzard Music’s next concert is on February 25 at the town’s Lake Street Theatre starting at 8pm.

The group is welcoming the extraordinarily gifted students of the Purcell School. Based in Bushey, the Purcell School is one of the top specialist music schools in England and attracts students from all over the world.

This year the concert will be given by three pianists, a violinist, a cellist, a guitarist and a singer who will present a very varied programme including music by Bach, Mozart, Schubert, Chopin, Brahms, Berlioz and Elgar.
