Haunting thriller comes to venue.
DAPHNE Du Maurier's classic thriller, Rebecca, comes to The Court Theatre, Pendley, for three nights from Wednesday.
Adapted by Clifford Williams, the story revolves around the Cornish mansion, Manderley, and its troubled inhabitants.
The icy Maxim De Winter woos and wins a new bride but her happy new life at his country seat is overshadowed by the death of his first wife Rebecca and the unsettling influence of the housekeeper Mrs Danvers.
Rebecca's ghost haunts every corner of the mansion and the plot takes a terrifying twist when the true circumstances of her death are revealed.
Rebecca runs until Saturday, October 10.
