Fiddler on the Roof at the Court Theatre.
Youth production of classic musical.
THE Court Theatre, Tring, plays host to a youth production of Fiddler on the Roof next week.
Directed by Julia Clark and musical director Dan Cowtan, it tells the rich, detailed and funny story of the lives of a small Jewish community in the Russian village of Anatevka in the early 1900s.
The story revolves around Russian dairyman, Tevye, his wife, Golde and the lives, loves and marriages of their daughters and includes the famous musical numbers "If I were a Rich Man", "Sunrise, Sunset ", Matchmaker" and Tradition".
Uplifting, exuberant and thought provoking, "Fiddler on the Roof" is performed by the talented cast from Berkhamsted Youth Theatre.
Fiddler on the Roof runs from Nov 26-28.
