Shall we Dance to The King and I in Cheddington?

Cheddington Players perform classic musical.

Cheddington Pantomime Group will be performing Rodgers and Hammerstein's ever popular musical The King and I at Cheddington Village Hall from April 14-17.

The group which has developed a reputation for coming up with quality productions, has once again assembled a hugely talented cast to tell the true story of Anna Leonowens, an English school teacher who travels to the Royal Court of Siam in the 1860s.

Soon she finds herself at odds with the stubborn King, but gradually the pair stop attempting to change each other and start trying to understand one another.

The show includes some of musicals' best known songs including Getting to Know You, I Whistle a Happy Tune and Shall we Dance?

It is a spectacular show for all ages.
