Bat The Symphony hits a high note at The Grove
Steve Steinman returns with the full monty - a 40 piece orchestra!
THAT ultimate showman, Steve Steinman is back at The Grove this Saturday with a rock experience like no other.
Bat The Symphony sees the songs from Bat Out Of Hell performed live with a full 40-piece orchestra and Steinman's remarkable voice, which, as fans know, is almost better than the original.
The charismatic Mancunian, who has won a huge Grove following with a string of Bat/ Meatloaf concerts and Vampires' Rock shows, brings the very best in stadium rock to the venue.
It's the ultimate rock experience.
Steinman has pulled out all the stops for this new production. With the intensity of a rock concert and the style and grace of an opera, Steinman presents these much loved songs as they were always intendedto be.
He will perform all the hits from Meat Loaf's record-breaking albums including; Paradise By The Dash Board Light, Took The Words Right Out Of My Mouth and Bat Out Of Hell as well as dueting on the Grammy award-winning hit song I'd Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That) and old favourite Dead Ringer For Love.
*Also on at The Grove this week: Today (Tues): Spanish flamenco with Jaleo; Thursday: 1970s soul sensations, The Real Thing, who used to perform at the old California Ballroom, are in town for a night of nostalgia; Sunday: Chas & His Band. One half of Chas and Dave, Chas Hodges is still hitting the road despite his partner Dave Peacock's retirement for an evening of Rabbiting and rock n roll.
