Beanstalk panto cancelled
Jack and the Beanstalk
ILL health has forced the St Leonard’s Amateur Players (SLAP) in Heath and Reach to cancel this year’s panto, Jack and the Beanstalk which was to have opened tomorrow night (Saturday).
A spokesman said: “We very much regret that, owing to circumstances beyond our control, the 2012 production has had to be cancelled. The company will look forward to welcoming the audience to this production early in 2013.”
Serious illness has forced the withdrawal of several leading members of the cast at very short notice and the group has not been able to replace them. Performances were due on Saturday and next Saturday (Feb 4).
All ticket monies will be refunded as soon as possible.
