Cutting It star Reeves joins God of Carnage
God of Carnage
TV actress Sian Reeves, best known for BBC series Cutting It, will be joining the cast of Yasmina Reza’s God Of Carnage at the Royal & Derngate next month.
The riotous comedy about frayed nerves and bloated egos is one of the most successful plays of recent years, winning the 2009 Tony Award for Best Play and Olivier Award for Best Comedy.
After two boys are involved in a playground punch up, their well-meaning parents call a meeting to discuss the matter in a civilised manner - but as the meeting progresses, and the wine starts to flow, all good intentions evaporate and chaos ensues.
This laugh‑out‑loud production features TV and stage actress Sian Reeves, known for her roles as villain Sally Spode in Emmerdale and as Sydney Henshall in BBC TV’s hair dressing drama Cutting It. She was also in Hope Springs and currently can be seen in Sky Living’s Mount Pleasant.
Running on the Royal stage at the Northampton venue from October 19 to November 10. For tickets call the box office on 01604 624811 or online at www.royalandderngate.co.uk.
