Psychic Tony returns to The Grove.

Medium Tony Stockwell gives LBO reporter Sarah Holmes a view behind the curtain .

Renowned and respected psychic medium Tony Stockwell will be making a return visit to The Grove Theatre in Dunstable later this month.

Here he talks exclusively to the LBO's Sarah Holmes.

Tony has communicated with the spirit world since he was a child and has 20 years experience sharing his heightened sensitivity with others by passing on messages from those who have gone to the other side.

During his career he has starred in many TV programmes including Most Haunted Live 4, The 6ixth Sense, The Mystery of Body 115 and I'm Famous and Frightened.

He has also had his own series Psychic Academy, The Psychic Detective, Street Psychic and Psychic School, as well as one-off specials: Street Psychic San Francisco and The National ESP Challenge.

He has also taught at some of the most respected schools for mediumistic development as well as setting up his own training school for developing mediums.

On Wednesday May 26, Tony will be returning to the Grove Theatre, bringing messages of comfort to those who need to hear and understand that a friend, loved one or someone they cared about still exists.

This he does to a breathtaking degree in his truly remarkable show. Often working with photographs or objects, Tony uses his extraordinary paranormal abilities, which he says we all have the ability to do, to communicate amazingly accurate messages.

Recent legislative guidelines insist that any Evening of Clairvoyance should be billed 'for entertainment purposes'. However, Tony certainly uses his natural wit, showmanship and Cockney charisma to entertain but more importantly, mediumship has the potential to change someone's life and instill in them a sense of peace, comfort and purpose and is taken very seriously by those who love and share the phenomenon.

For those who do not receive a message, the use of a big screen allows the audience to become deeply involved in the entire process taking them with him on a spiritual and emotional roller coaster which would force the most hardened of cynics to rethink their views on the afterlife.

Tony hopes that through his current work he will make others aware that there's something more than just our current lives, indeed over the last few years Tony has seen a shift in people's knowledge as they start to think for themselves and shake off previous dogmas and religious indoctrination.

I interviewed Tony and was delighted to have a message of my own given by a famous TV stage medium.

"Everything Tony said to me was correct. I've known for ages that my nan and grandad come to visit, but I can never quite put my finger on it and explain.

"Anyway he told me they were sending loads of love because of a health issue with a family member at the moment – true (he confirmed who it was by exact first and second name – fantastic). Tony said my grandad loved to play the piano – true, and he apparently still does! (I'm sure the village pub nearby will be delighted to know that!)

"He also gave me an inkling on how my career was going to progress – hmm interesting. There were also a few other little bits which only I could know.

"Sadly, because of the telephone interview my message was short and sweet, but I will be sharing the message and all its love with my family."

Tickets for the one-night show from The Grove Theatre Box Office on 01582 602080 or online www.grovetheatre.co.uk.
