ASPIRING young performers can travel back or forwards in time for two drama workshops being held at Vandyke Upper School this half term.

We Will Rock You - but only if you’re 11-18-years-old - on February 13 with West End star Emma Woods joining performer and drama teacher Richard Reynard at the Musical Theatre High workshop.

Emma has appeared in the futuristic London show which features the music of Queen plus other top productions including Sister Act, Dirty Dancing, Mary Poppins, and Cats.

Said Richard: “We will spend the day looking at songs and scenes from the show with a final performance for family and friends onstage on the Vandyke Upper School’s stage.”

A day later the Musical Theatre High! juniors will be visiting the great Lionel Bart musical Oliver!. Again there will be an end performance for family and friends but held in the dance studio.

Richard is taking a breather from show-business to launch his own theatre academy in Leighton this April. For more details visit his website www.musicaltheatrehigh.com
