On Wednesday everyone is invited to pop into Rushmere Visitor Centre between 2pm and 8pm when the proposals for the Visitor Centre improvements will be on display.

Greensand Trust staff and the project’s architects will be on-hand to answer any questions.

Alexe Rose, senior development officer, for the trust, said: “If you have been wondering how we are going to convert a residential 1960s bungalow and create a welcoming catering facility and visitor centre then now is your chance to come and have a look. We have used feedback given during framework consultations in 2011 to inform its design.”

The framework is a blueprint for the future development of Rushmere over the next five years and it can be downloaded from the www.greensandtrust.org

Gill Welham, chief executive officer, for the Greensand Trust, said: “We are looking forward to sharing the proposals for the Visitor Centre with both visitors and the community.”
