Police need witnesses
Police would like to speak to anyone who can help identify a female robber who attacked a Leighton woman at about 6.40pm on Friday.

A police spokesman said the 35-year-old victim had "just got out of a cab" in Meadow Way when she grabbed by the hair and dragged into a nearby grey-coloured Ford Fiesta.

The spokesman said the woman was held down and forced to hand over her purse and cash from her pocket.

Her attacker is described as aged about 45 and well-built.
She was wearing a grey bomber jacket, grey tracksuit bottoms and black shoes.

The car was last seen being driven towards Richmond Road.

Anyone with information is asked to telephone Det Sgt Sean Quinn on 01582 473195.
