Leighton loses two shops
The recession in Britain may be officially over, but try telling that to shop owner Andrea Kidd.

Andrea and her husband Ian have been running Greenways in North Street for almost three years.

Sadly, Greenways, which specialised in organic and Fairtrade products, has fallen victim to the economic downturn and will be closing later this month.

The store was fourth in line for the LBO's Top Shop award when the closure was announced.

Children's clothes shop Chameleon in Market Square has also closed.

For the full story see page three of this week's LBO.
