ZSL Whipsnade Zoo’s new rhino’ calf is pictured with mum Clara.
The youngster, who hasn’t been named yet, was born in March and is the 55th African white rhino’ to be born at the zoo since 1970.
The zoo has also taken delivery of a third species of penguin for visitors to admire.
Gentoo penguins are easily identified by the distinctive white stripe across their heads, orange beaks and very fast swimming skills.
Other new animal attractions include sloth bears, so-called because their long curved claws resemble those of a sloth, and they are settling into their purpose-built home and paddock near the newly-opened Rhinos of Nepal house.
Spring is also in the air at Woburn Safari Park where three of the patas monkeys have new babies to show off.
The patas are the fastest monkeys in the world and share their forest home with colobus monkeys, barbary macaques and the beautiful and rare bongo antelope.
Tambi, the lioness and her three cubs are also out and about with the rest of the pride and the rare Rothschild giraffes are proudly showing off their calves as well.
