BUSINESSES across Bedfordshire have until Thursday, May 3 to get their entries in to a county awards scheme.

Companies will be able to fine tune their entries to the Bedfordshire Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) Awards to have a chance of winning a £5,000 advertising prize from media partner Premier Newspapers.

Charlie Smith, who chairs the regional FSB said: “We want to give Bedfordshire businesses the best possible chance to win. Our previous winners have enjoyed some fantastic benefits, including an average 30 per cent increase in business’.

Any business in Bedfordshire either self employed or with up to 200 employees can enter up to three categories out of the 15 available. Application forms and tips on entering the awards can be downloaded at www.fsb.org.uk/bedsawards

In addition to the title sponsor – Mercedes-Benz of Bedford - other companies have linked with the FSB to sponsor the 15 categories. These include Luton Borough Council, TaxAssist Accountants, Specsavers, Knowledge Hub and Basepoint.

All finalists will be invited to attend the glittering awards ceremony on Wednesday June 13, at the Mansion House, Shuttleworth.
