The facility allows clients to deploy re-usable thermal protection packaging systems for the pharmaceutical industry.

This helps reduce supply chain costs, reduce packaging waste going to land fill sites and reduce the overall environmental impact of the distribution activity without compromising on the quality and security of medical shipments.

To mark the occasion, business leaders from across the globe will be joining local dignitaries for the launch at the company’s European headquarters on Stanbridge Road.

Peli Biothermal will host the open day which will include tours of the new facility.

Town Mayor Ray Berry will be among the guests who will hear how the company’s global network of service centres provides comprehensive packages for reusable temperature-controlled packaging requirements.

Paul Terry, Peli BioThermal’s director of sales EMEA, said: “We are delighted to welcome our esteemed guests to help us celebrate the official opening of the new Service Centre.

“We look forward to being able to introduce our clients, business leaders, dignitaries and the wider community to the services offered at the new centre as well as give a behind the scenes look at all of the operations that take place at Peli BioThermal.

“Our global network of service centres further ensures we continue to offer optimised and efficient solutions for the pharmaceutical, life sciences, clinical trials and leading supply chain logistics industry companies on an international scale.”

CEO of Peli Products, Lyndon Faulkner, and Dave Williams, president of the BioThermal division, will be flying from America to address guests at the event.

The official opening is from 2pm at Peli BioThermal, Celsius House, Stanbridge Road.
