Leighton’s Pizza Express restaurant is under new management and has some exciting promotions running this month to mark the changeover.

They include The Great Dough Ball Hunt, where people have to go around and take pictures of the dough balls that manager Lucy Timms has hidden around town. They then get free large portion if they bring it in to show staff at the Old Fire Station, Market Square restaurant. The hunt is running until May 28.

Lucy has worked for Pizza Express for nearly five years, and previously worked for Disney in Florida as a trainer in one of their restaurants.

She added: “I am from the local area, and really want to make Leighton’s restaurant a place where the locals can come and enjoy good service and good food.

“There has been a lot of team improvements and standards have been improved, and there are more changes over the coming months, including how the front garden will be used to full potential this year.

“We have also invited the local learning support groups to come in and make pizza for no cost, and we have done school visits. We also do alot of children’s pizza making parties.”
