Heath and Reach sheep breeders Sylvia and Sally Evans have added to their long catalogue of success at the prestigious Bucks County Show with their flock of pedigree Shropshires.
The mother and daughter team were “happy to go home” with three second-place rosettes for their ewe lamb, tup lamb and ewes. They also took reserve champion for a group of three.
Sylvia said: “We had a good day, we’re very pleased.”

Yvonne said that because of the high standard of competition it is “quite difficult” to be among the trophy winners at the annual show. She said: “I think we did extremely well.”
Top static attraction with boys aged eight to 80 at the Weedon Park showground was probably a reproduction of a Spitfire based on an original produced by Vickers Armstrong at their Castle Bromwich works in 1944.
