If you’re looking for work, fancy a new challenge or just want to find out more about careers and training opportunities in health and social care, then pop along to a Central Beds Council recruitment event .
The free health and social care drop-in session takes place on Tuesday, October 1, from 10am-2pm at Leighton Buzzard Theatre in Lake Street.
You’ll get the chance to speak to professionals, find out all about the wide range of careers in social care, and receive up to date information about training and apprenticeships.
Speaking ahead of the event, Councillor Andrew Turner said: “There’s a huge range of different careers within social care, including many that you might never have thought of before. Somewhere in your community there is a job you can do to help others. Your age, background and qualifications don’t matter and there are lots of different entry points into a career in social care. So if you want to make a difference, why not come along, you’ve got nothing to lose.”
