Deli worker Dyan Kew, 48,from Leighton, has become a national TV star alongside presenters Ant & Dec.
Dyan, who works in Morrisons, St Albans, is one of the stars of the supermarket’s new advertising campaign, which launched across the country last week.
In the 40 second advert, Morrisons Market Street is taken out of the stores and recreated as an outside, bustling market.
Dyan, of Cooper Drive, who has worked for chain for three years, takes on the role of a market trader, setting up for the morning’s business and putting the finishing touches to her stall.
Ant and Dec are seen walking down the cobbled streets impressed by the display and, just like in store, Dyan is seen laughing with a customer, while she is surrounded by cheese.
Dyan said: “The whole experience was great fun!
“Ant and Dec were so friendly, Dec even saw that I was cold and gave me two cuddles.
“I am so proud to be doing this. The best part of my job is helping customers, seeing the same faces and giving great customer service.”
Belinda Youngs, Morrisons corporate brand marketing director, said: “Dyan was perfect for the role and she couldn’t have been more professional on set. We might have started to worry about losing her to a career in acting if we didn’t know she was so dedicated to her job!”
