Leighton Buzzard Army Cadets have won the ABF Revision Cadet Challenge for 2014.

The cadets held various fundraising events over the last year to help raise the most funds for the ABF The Soldiers’ Charity. Major Tony Lloyd said: “We are all very proud of these cadets who have all worked hard to raise money for such a good cause .”

Part of their prize was tickets to the Colchester Military Tournament. The youngsters, pictured during a fundraising bag pack, along with cadets from the rest of Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire, are soon off on their annual camp at Swynnerton.

The Army Cadet Force has 45,000 members across the UK aged 12-18 and 8,000 volunteer adults in its 1,700 detachments.
