Leighton-based children’s charity, KidsOut is celebrating a £5,000 win in a national competition for its work in launching an online story collection.
World Stories come from other cultures, written and read in both English and in their original language.
Project manager Pam Haigh said: “I am delighted and honoured to have been voted Talk Talk Digital hero for the East of England. I am extremely proud of World Stories and it’s great to have such a fantastic opportunity to showcase the project. “Many thanks to all who voted for us.”
The national winner, picked on Oct 29, receives an extra £5,000.
