Leighton’s Christmas festive fun continued with Saturday’s Santa Dash for KidsOut.
It began at the charity’s building in Church Square at 11am, with participants – including the town’s MP Andrew Selous – running or walking the 2.5 mile route around the town centre dressed as Mr Claus himself.
Also on Saturday was a larger market than usual, a variety of street entertainment, fun fair, climbing wall and gyroscope on North Street and live music.
There were also donkey rides on Saturday and Sunday for under 16s, and a roaming circus skills workshop for any children wishing to brush up on their plate-spinning skills.
And on Sunday there was a Christmas market, the fun fair, live reindeer, street entertainment, Santa’s Grotto and entertainment on the stage.
