It’s the chance for green-fingered enthusiasts to explore some great gardens lovingly cared for by residents across the town.

Organised by the Leighton-Linslade in Bloom committee, Linslade held its event on June 12, so now it’s Leighton Buzzard’s turn on Saturday, June 26.

In all Leighton Buzzard has seven gardens opening (12noon to 5pm), with refreshments on offer at two of those.

Programmes cost £3 and can be bought at the first garden visited, Selections, A Touch of Class, The White House and Leighton Buzzard Garden Centre.

Any other donations made on the day go to the committee’s two charities for this year - Keech Hospice and All Saints Preservation Trust.

A spokesman said: “It is an opportunity for people to visit gardens and the allotments to get inspiration or just have a relaxing afternoon.
