A Heath and Reach man was stabbed during an aggravated burglary at his home in Red Lion Court last night.
Three men wearing balaclavas knocked on the door and pushed their way into the 59-year-old’s house at around 11.30pm.
They demanded cash and assaulted the man and his 24-year-old son, but left the scene with two laptops and a set of car keys which were later found nearby.
The victim was stabbed in the hip and is now in surgery, but his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
His son suffered cuts and bruises during the attack.
Beds Police are now looking for people to come forward if they saw anyone acting suspiciously last night.
