Intruders smashed a window and stole computer equipment and jewellery in a burglary at a home in Leighton Buzzard on Monday (December 30).

The break-in took place sometime 2.25pm and 9pm at a house in Wing Road, when the culprits smashed a window at the back of the house to gain entry.

A messy search of the property was then carried out and the offenders stole two laptops, two electronic tablets, a Kindle, an iPod, a Fred Perry handbag and a gold ring.

Det Con Helen Toms, who is investigating the incident, is keen to hear from anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area prior to the burglary or from anyone who may have seen the offenders fleeing the area soon afterwards.

If you have information relating to this incident, contact Det Con Toms, in confidence, on 01582 394091, the non-emergency 101 number, or text information to 07786 200011.
