House window smashed late at night in Leighton Buzzard

A window of a Leighton Buzzard house was smashed late at night, prompting a police appeal for witnesses.

The incident in Nelson Road took place on Wednesday, July 13.

At around 12.40am, two men approached the property and smashed a window on the ground floor before leaving the scene.

PC Tony Bravo, investigating, said: “If you saw two men running away from Nelson Road at the same time as the incident, we would like to hear from you. You may also know who is responsible; if so I would urge you to come forward with any information that could help our investigation.”

A 16-year-old boy from Leighton Buzzard was arrested in connection with the incident and was released with no further action.
