Police have released a grainy CCTV image of a man they want to trace in connection with the theft of fuel from a petrol station in Leighton Buzzard.

A driver failed to pay for fuel worth £55 after filling up at the Shell garage in Leighton Road on Wednesday, December 3.

Julie Duguid, investigating, said: “The vehicle is a Vauxhall Astra VXR with racing stripes which are very distinctive. I would urge anyone who recognises it, or the man pictured next to it, to call police.”
