Jewellery thieves disturbed by burglary victim

A burglary at a house in Stoke Hammond saw the intruders disturbed.

At 10.45am on Friday, May 16, the burglars gained entry to the property in Church Road and stole jewellery which included two gold bracelets, a gold signet ring, a gold engagement ring and a sapphire gold ring.

They were disturbed by the victim, who was outside in the front garden, and made off down Church Road in the direction of Newton Road.

One intruder was a white man, about 5ft 11ins tall, in his late teens to early twenties, with dark hair. He wore a white T-shirt with a pattern, a dark cap and a thin dark jacket. Call the police on 101 with information.
