A man was knocked unconscious during a robbery on Bridge Street, Leighton Buzzard in the early house of Sunday, April 6.

The 49 year old was assaulted, knocked unconscious and had his mobile phone, cash and keys taken during the robbery .

The incident took place at around 1.50am after the victim had bought cigarettes at the Shell filling station in Leighton Road.
