Thomas McCarthy, 24, of Toddbury Farm, Slapton Road, Little Billington, will remain in police custody before facing Luton Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.

He is charged with the murder of 43-year-old Patrick Maloney on Tuesday, August 2.

A post-mortem examination carried out on Mr Maloney, who also lived at the same site, has revealed he died as a result of multiple crushing injuries – consistent with a heavy collision with a vehicle.
