A man has been jailed for more than three and a half years after stealing electrical items, money and alcohol.
Nathan Littlefield, 37, from Church Road, Slapton was sentenced to three years and eight months in prison for the burglary in the same road which took place between 1.15pm on November 28 and 1.05am on November 29.
The occupants of the property, aged 31 and 33, were not at home at the time of offence.
Investigating officer PC Nicola Ambrose of Aylesbury CID said: “While it was fortunate the two occupants were not in when Littlefield entered their home, burglary is still a horrible crime which leaves its victims feeling vulnerable and their homes violated.
“I hope that the lengthy sentence given to Littlefield will give them some peace of mind.”
