Fabreece Mullings, 24, of Robinson Street, Bletchley, was sentenced at Luton Crown Court on Friday, June 10.

Bodybuilder Mullings had admitted stabbing the man in Clarence Road during a clash on November 21.

Det Con Martin Hart said: “This was a totally needless, brutal attack which could have cost a man his life.

“We absolutely do not tolerate knife crime in Bedfordshire and I’m pleased that the court has issued such a strong sentence to reflect that.

“By carrying a knife you will not only possibly ruin someone else’s life, but also your own, something that Mullings will now be able to reflect on for the next nine years while in prison.”
