A man from Wing was sentenced to a total of 33 months in prison on Monday for making and distributing indecent images of children.
Colin Greer, 56, had pleaded guilty at Aylesbury Crown Court on February 16 to one count of distributing indecent images of children, three counts of making indecent images of a child and one count of possessing an extreme pornographic image showing an act with an animal.
Greer, of Dormer Avenue, was also given a Sex Offenders Prevention Order. He was arrested by Thames Valley Police after a warrant was executed at his home in June last year.
Investigating officer, Detective Constable Simon Taylor from Aylesbury Police station said: “When we seized Greer’s computer, he was found to be in possession of around 1500 extreme pornographic images and more than 3000 indecent images of children.
“Every child who features in images of this nature is a victim and Thames Valley Police works tirelessly to protect those victims and bring offenders like Greer to justice.
“I am pleased that Greer has pleaded guilty and taken responsibility for his actions and has now been given a custodial sentence.”
