Ambitions at an improving Leighton school are sky high– much like the way it chose to celebrate its most recent Ofsted report.

Having previously been a school requiring improvement, Beaudesert Lower, on Appenine Way, has now attained a ‘good’ Ofsted rating after a two-day inspection last month.

To celebrate the feat pupils were captured forming the letters of the school’s new rating during a flyover by pilot Graham Mountford, who was accompanied by staff members Francesca Butler and Lynda Badrick.

Parent and photographer Lewis Duncan joined the crew to snap what turned out to be a picture perfect moment.
