Cedars Upper School celebrated the outstanding achievements of 85 Year 9 and 10 students in the company of their proud families, friends and teachers at the first of the school’s two annual awards evenings.
The packed event showcased the huge talents of the school’s singers, musicians, dancers and athletes and praised the hard work of the students.
The students were also joined by school governors as they received their awards for significant and sustained effort across a wide range of subjects from ex-head boy and the school’s new drama teacher, Laurie Goodlad.
Cedars’ headteacher Steve Palmer said: “We are so proud of these students. They’ve shown remarkable resilience over the past 12 months, achieved amazing things and deserved their moment in the limelight.”
