Have a laugh with the Tringe Festival

Crack a funnybone with a week-long comedy festival.

THE south's answer to the Edinburgh Fringe explodes into life this Saturday when the Tringe Festival is launched.

For one week streets throughout Tring are holding a series of events supported by evening entertainment at Pendley Court Theatre.

The rib-tickling line-up of comics at the theatre starts on Monday (July 5) with Tim Key and Alex Horne; Tuesday: Ladies' Night with Richard Herring and Jimmy McGhie; Weds: Dan Antopolski and Gareth Richards; Thursday: TV's Russell Kane and Sadie Hasler; Friday: Josie Long and Andy Zaltzman and Saturday Greg Davies and Chris Ramsey.

Kids' events: Friday: Twinkle Twonkle; Saturday: Lighter Than Air.

All evening shows start at 8pm.
