Merger approved for two Leighton GP surgeries

Leighton Road Surgery and Grovebury Road Surgery will officially merge together on July 1. The joint practice will be known as Leighton Road Surgery.

NHS England stated: “We can confirm that we received the outcome of the patient engagement exercise, which was very positive and in favour of the merger. 

“The Primary Care Commissioning Panel considered the findings and approved the practices’ request to merge at its meeting on Monday May 9.

“NHS England is committed to ensuring patients have access to safe, quality care.”
