A firm of solicitors in Leighton Buzzard are helping students prepare for a fundraising skydive.
A group from the Greys Education Centre need to raise funds for a Duke of Edinburgh Award expedition and are hoping to make the skydive on June 22.
Tim Woolford, managing partner at Osborne Morris and Morgan, heard about the skydive from his brother Jon, who teaches at the centre and has offered to sponsor one of the students for the skydive.
The sponsored tandem skydive is being organised by Greys Education Centre teacher James Rosling.
The students need to raise money for the kit needed for the expedition which they must complete as part of their Bronze award.
The DofE award helps pupils to learn new skills, develop positive relationships and take part in physical recreation and expeditions.
Tim said: “Greys Education Centre needs to raise £1,850 for this tandem skydive so that this group of students can participate in the DofE expedition. We’re sponsoring one of the students and send the whole team our best wishes.”
